I would suggest if there could be small tea break or that kind of a thing so that people can also interact with each other and exchange their business cards (if they have the cards :P).
My point on suggesting it is that It would help people knowing other people of their interest and who knows some may find co-founders | mentors | advisers in the social gathering. 🙂
asha chaudhry
vishal: just do it baba – that’s your portfolio!!!!!
#therodinhoods is a better idea
asha chaudhry
rohit… the last part is for mingling & networking 🙂
Kulwinder Arora
Will not miss it this time !
Pranay Srinivasan
This sounds like FUN! Will be mailing in my PPT as well! 🙂
see you guys 27th July!
Cheers, Pranay

Amazing. Sounds like a litmus test of ideas. Do the presenters get any quick feedback (a minute or two) from Alok after their presentations?
Vijay Khubchandani
I think keeping the entire Q&A portion at the end of One and a Half hours might lack the spontanity and thrill of a Q&A.. Why not try accomodate it within the scope of 10 mins.. And moreover, what about people who would have a Question but not an Internet enabled mobile phone??
Himanshu Mody
Great !! nice to see the meet up evolving and getting better with every instance.
Saurabh Gakhar
OMG, This will be like a Play Group Class…Learning while Playing minus Stress/Tension and no fee (Happy Dad)…Surely attending this time…
Vishakha Singh
This makes a lot of sense… meaningful in more ways than one
Milan Bavishi
I am just two Rodinhood open house old. (22 June 2012 & 6 July 2012). And I am seeing a massive change in the open house.
Compared to 22 June the number of Rodinhooders attending on 6 July were 4x.
From 6 July to 27 July the format is seeing a massive change.
This is Superb!
Budding entrepreneurs should not miss the 27 July Rodinhood open house. See U! 🙂
Himanshu Mody
Does the venue have good wifi connectivity ?
Manav Shankar
Kaarvaann..Must join.
Mandar Joshi
This is perfect !!! I have just one suggestion. Is it possible to webcast this event for the benefit of Rodinhooders who are located out of Mumbai. This webcast will be one way only which means that others will be able to view and listen to the interactions however won’t be able to participate. (If somebody wants to participate then he/she needs to come to Mumbai) This will benefit larger section of entrepreneurs who are not in Mumbai and not every time they can afford to be there for the mixer. You can also think of publishing the recording of the event after the mixer.
Vishal Gupta
Mandar : in dec 2011 we were 15+ , today over 2500+ .. sab hojayega yaar..
This time will post few videos..

Durgesh Khandelwal
yes….as we all discussed at the last open house.
The agenda will make the Open House high on Content and Quality.
Mandar Joshi
Yes Chief !!! I am on to it. You Tube has started You Tube Live services wherein one can do a live webcast of any event on You Tube (Like IPL T20 :)) .
I am in the process of getting the required details so that I can enable this. I have the necessary gear and I shall come prepared for the event. I need to know about a couple of things
If I get this information it will be a great help to configure the solution.
If possible I shall also visit the venue before the event to check all these things myself. Kindly let me know the SPOC their so that I can coordinate the same.
Mandar Joshi
Very True Vishal !!! I am sure the fire is going to get spread in all the jungle !!!!
Sai Rodinhood Pothuri
Well.. how it will be if next meet is in Hyd. i dont know how many will turn up but its just a try.
Thanks
Sai

I dug for some information as promised on You Tube Live services however unfortunately its not yet available with full steam ( I mean its available but only to select You Tube Partners) I guess this time we will have to record the session and then upload the same to you tube on our own Rodinhoods Channel.
Lets create a Rodinhoods Channel wherein we can publish, upload, share any video content related to Entrepreneurship and as per the guidelines set by the Rodinhood. I am willing to take a lead in this initiative.
I have another suggestion. I can see there is lot of enthusiasm in fellow rodinhooders to have this event arranged in other locations (Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune) As we have only one Rodinhood 🙂 therefore he can be present in only one event at a time. My suggestion is as follows
It all depends upon how resourceful our fellow Rodihooders are 🙂 however as all of them are Entrepreneurs they will definitely arrange the above mentioned resources.
Alok Please approve this arrangement principally so that we can connect with each other and start planning for the big day.
Rahil Bhansali
This would be my first rodinhoods event. Was sad to miss the one on 6th July since I was in Bangalore for the Unpluggd event. Glad the next one is already around the corner. Looking Forward to It!

I wanna be at the Open House too!!
Can we have a Google Hangout Open House for all the people who cannot attend these for various reasons ?
https://www.google.com/+/learnmore/hangouts/
Vishal Gupta
via hangout we can broadcast it on youtube & embedded html code on this site as well…the more powerful net connection the high quality A/V delivered
asha chaudhry
pranay… haven’t heard from you yet… hope you haven’t changed your mind!
Amey Asuti
Super initiative. Could we include a quick intro round early on. But it has to be brief: name/business only. Helps connect with the right people afterwards instead of leaving it to chance bump-ins.
Mandar Joshi
Great !!! Thanks Nimit for this generous offer. I shall be in touch with you regarding this. In fact I would need some inputs about this service. What kind of encoder you use ? Is it a hardware or a software based encoder ? What bandwidth would be needed for live streaming ? Please send me these or some other relevant details on me@mandarjoshi.com with your contact coordinates.
Mandar Joshi
Sure !!!
Aditya Reddy
Is there a live webcast ?
asha chaudhry
aditya… as of now – no. i think we’re gonna try out hashchat. closer to the date we’ll let everyone know. but i know for a fact that with each open house we are evolving. so hang in there!
🙂
Sarang Lakare
Is anyone planning to come from Pune?
Aditya Reddy

Vijay Khubchandani
Just had this sudden Insight.. Why don’t we ask our Budding Bots guys to make us a remote controlled Robot, fitted with a Video Camera on top and shoot the entire event with it.. Later we can give them the Credits.. 🙂
asha chaudhry
vijay!!!!!!
let me post this as a comment on the dude’s story thread and find out if this is possible or not 🙂
Sushil Bhasin
This is cool
I will like to attend
Mandar Joshi
Hi Asha I think this time we can test various platforms such as webcast, Hangout or Skype and then depending upon the effectiveness and response for each of these we can narrow down to the most suitable tech platform. There is no doubt that there are many rodinhooders who stay out of Mumbai are eager to be at the Mecca of Entrepreneurship on each open house 🙂 and we need to provide them a virtual gateway to connect. I am already in the process of identifying how we can do that and will write a post about the same in a while.
asha chaudhry
awesome mandar!!!
and i completely agree with u! kudos to your pro-activeness!!!!!
on this tech-sharing front, it would be nice if you and vishal gupta could co-ordinate with others who are volunteering 🙂
hashchat – we must try this time!
vijay khubchandani came up with the idea of using fellow rodinhooder ankur’s budding bots – have sent a msg to him – so let’s see 🙂
like i mentioned before, we’re evolving with each Open House so let’s try out what we can this time and graduate in the next open house!
cheers!!!
Mandar Joshi
Thanks Asha !!
indeed we are evolving and each one wants to contribute in some or the other way 🙂 I shall connect with Vishal and plan for the next session.
Mandar Joshi
Hi Vishal !! Lets connect to plan the Virtual Connect Platform for the Rodinhooders who are staying out of Mumbai and for one or the other reason won’t be able to come to Mumbai for each Open House. I have worked on a couple of options. Kindly share your contact coordinates so that we can connect and work on this. You can reach me at +91 98908 17339 or me(at)mandarjoshi.com or mandy.joshi (Skype)

Mandar : We need a HD webcam (Microsoft LifeCam HD 2MP or More – I have Logitech 1.3 MP ) for broadcasting via Google hangout. I have also spoken to http://www.unirow.com for broadcast & they can create an account with 200 concurrent attendees @ No Cost. ( They broadcast recent Unpluggd Event ). If their team attend open house then they agree to bring their HD Cam- Laptop & Wifi/3G to be arrange by us ( Will carry that on 27th ). We can embedded the code on TRH with FB Comments / Twitter feeds en all.
Perzen Darukhanawalla
Hi Alok and Asha, will definately be attending this one and really looking forward to it. Hey guys!
It was my first ever rodinhoods open house, and I absolutely loved it!
Felt fresh, inspired and “in the right place”, now i’m just looking for that eureka moment to start my own venture.
Has anyone noted the slides of Alokji on the 7 ways to sell? like to sell to you industry, be your customer’s pet, sell vanity…Also, does anyone have NIthyaji’s slides?
I would love to share them with my friend who couldn’t make it.
I’ve started reading Autobiography of a Yogi, and i’m just grateful to Alokji for the book and starting Rodinhoods.
Feeling a different kind of clarity now.
Thanks & Cheers,
Sanket Saraf
