It was Entrepreneur Monk’s birthday today. Sensei and the monks assembled in the winter garden to wish him.
Sensei asked the monks to wish Entrepreneur Monk individually.
Happy Monk said, “Entrepreneur Monk, may you be happy, more than successful. Happiness is the greatest achievement.”
Laughing Monk laughed and said, “(laugh), may you (laugh) laugh all your life. All that matters is (laugh) to be able to laugh at everything…”
Sensei smiled.
Angry Monk growled and barked and said, “What a waste of time. What happens tomorrow and the day after? Why focus on one silly day?”
Sensei chuckled and waved him off.
Silly Monk came up and said, “Don’t be afraid of making a fool of yourself. Be silly and be naïve. Sometimes, the universe accepts those who are naked to their soul….”
Sensei laughed and clapped once.
Head Monk bowed to Sensei and said, “Entrepreneur Monk, may you remain committed to looking and searching. To keep finding things is more important that having them….”
Sensei clapped twice, and said, “Be yourself. Be the wind. Blow where your mind takes you and go where your heart sets sail. Be in the now. Be hollow. Be empty. Be the mirror that looks at the mirror and wonders, who is looking at whom…”
