TheRodinhoods Bangalore Open House (Nov. 16, 2013) Agenda

Last year when Ad:tech took Alok to Bangalore we had a cosy Mixer of about 50 rodinhooders.

This year TechCrunch beckons which calls for a full-on OPEN HOUSE!! Team Bangalore’s enthusiasm is contagious and they promise to “kick up some dust”…! We’re hoping after this Open House, all ye B’lore Rodinhooders could take the spirit of rodinhooding forward and replicate the ‘Rodinhooders of Delhi Meet-ups’ model!

So this is the proposed Agenda for the Bangalore Open House on Nov 16, 2013. Check venue details here and pls pls RSVP as well. We are required to submit a list of attendees which will be determined from the RSVPs! 

Here I must share that Alok has been super charged with the idea of an Open House in Bangalore. “Bangalore is all about Product. Let’s talk Product this time…!” Yep… as you can visualize, he ended up ideating the theme and even created a neat PPT template for the presenters!!

Welcome address by Alok Rodinhood Kejriwal (Founder) and presentation of Agenda by Team B’lore

11am –11:45am (30 min + 15 min Q & A)

“Ash with Cash” – a special session with Ash Lilani and Alok Kejriwal

We have a surprise guest this time! Ash Lilani – VC extraordinaire and Alok’s VC has graciously agreed to be our keynote speaker in a unique session with Alok interviewing him! After a stimulating 30 mins of discussion there will be a Q&A open to the audience!!

Both Ash & Alok are known to be “full of fun” so this session promises to be memorable! An amazing opportunity to ask a VC everything you ever wanted to know about funding…  

11:45am – 12:45pm

Product, Platform or Service?!

5 entrepreneurs get an opportunity to present their business stories. 

–          Have you started a business with either a product or platform or service as the business model? Explain WHY have you chosen one over the other two?

–          Explain the rational and business case so that the audience gains from your insights and gains knowledge for thinking through their own business plans!

In this format 5 Rodinhooders get around 5 Minutes to present 5 Slides on the topic. After which a brief Q & A with the audience will follow. You will be timed!

To get an opportunity to present in this section, pls send-in end your case duly submitted in THIS PPT FORMAT to asha@rodinhood.com latest by 7^th Nov. The final 5 presenters will be chosen by the editorial team (comprising Alok and me).
