Tikona broadband sucks

We use MTNL broadband for office and happy with the service. But to be on safer side we thought it is better to have a back up. One of my cousin uses Tikona and he recommended them, so we called Tikona. Tikona sales guy charged some 550 bucks as installation fee and asked a one month advance which will be adjusted against first bill. I gave him the cheque. Installation was done in 2-3 days. After 2 days the net stopped working. I called up Tikona customer care they said they take 48 hrs to attend a complain. Same day a local cable net guy offered the same plan at a lesser price. I took it and decided to discontinue Tikona service. I called up Tikona and asked them to disconnect my service (this was in feb). Also, mentioned to her that they have already taken one month advance in cheque so that settles my account as well. 

In April i received bill from tikona for feb and march. I called up and informed their customer care, told them my story. The exe said tht apart from calling them I have to email to their id as well (which was ridiculous). I wanted to finish the story I did the same as told by her. I thot story is over.

I again received bill in may. I was disgusted . I called again, explained everything. Exe said that unless i clear my dues my connection will not be disconnected and they will keep sending bills. I explained them tht I dint use their net and also paid feb month’s rent in advance, still the bill reflects feb months rent as unpaid. Exe said he cant do much. I thot let it be lets finish the story and paid whtever amt they asked me to pay. I again emailed them explaining the situation and informed exe. Exe assured me that everything will be done. I thot now it is end of the story.

In month of June I dint receive any bill. I thot at last the story is over.

In month of July I again received the bill. Now what the fuck is wrong with this company? Now i don’t bother calling them up and explaining my situation, why shd I? 

Everyday i get calls from their exe asking me to pay the bill.

When in July the courier boy came to deliver the bill, I refused to take it. He asked me “have you discontinued the service and still receiving the bills?”

I was surprised to hear that. He told me that many tikona ex-customers are facing the problem.

So AVOID TIKONA!!!
