Now finally I along with a Co Founder have founded a company recently by the name of “Crazy Dots Entertainment” and we are building a platform for Artists in the Entertainment field. My previous post regarding the same.
The platform will allow artists to showcase their talent, participate in competitions, apply in opportunities and also enhance their skills and knowledge.
Not only for Artists, this platform is also going to help Artist Managers, Promoters and Fans.
We are looking for Volunteers who could help us in the below mentioned domains.
1. Technology Project Management
2. Graphic Designing
3. Content Writing
4. Social Media Management
5. Anything else you can help us with.
Here are a few guidelines which we would want you to read before you go ahead.
1. We are looking for passionate people who would share the same vision with us. We are NOT looking for Part Time employees.
2. Since this is a new kind of a platform, we are not sure if we will start getting the revenue immediately, and hence we would not be able to pay you before the revenue comes.
3. There will be tremendous energy and learning and knowledge sharing. If you are willing to give away your weekends for this, you are onboard.
4. If you share the same vision and you become a part of the team, you can join us full time once we have revenues coming in and also,we are ready to do equity sharing.
5. Location is not a problem, wherever you are, if you have a computer and you are willing to help us, we have no issues.

To Start with currently your site is not working somehow. Gives the “500 Internal Server Error”
Need to check the IP settings used “180.179.213.123″ server631.spikecloud.net.in and Server: 128.242.54.18 to correct accordingly as required to load the website appropriately.
If you made recent changes to your domain name (DNS) configuration, you may also want to check that your domain records are correct, or ask your hosting company to do so.
With reference to your earlier post and the various feedbacks provided, there was no response to continue further from your end after the initial introductory calls for the purpose.
Have you worked out the Milestones and the various other things as discussed to include Bollywood (aka Mumbai) into your plan of action as suggested and directed towards the options too since you are in Delhi and it is strongly required for your industry to have a local presence here in Mumbai for the purpose to be effective and grow the business fruitfully, to market the services for both Customers and Clients for yourself (Clients – Service providers like the production houses, portfolio makers, Video profiles, Auditions, the talent management firms, acting, dancing, fighting, speaking training institutes etc for jobs for the Artists) and the Customers – Wannabe Stars, Artists themselves looking for the same in Mumbai (Amitabh also came to Mumbai like SRK or others now Super stars) and associate with the specific people so guided to connect with to take things further are yet to get a response as well from your end.
Now with this post you are also looking for everything in the Online project requirements listed, so you are offering an Equity based participation for the Volunteers “you can join us full time once we have revenues coming in and also,we are ready to do equity sharing.” since you are “NOT looking for Part Time employees.”
What is available though is not listed yet, please do let me know if you need anything in specifics to continue from where we left off, you already have my contact co ordinates, Cheers!!!

Hello Darshan ji, Thanks for the reply … I am getting the internal server error resolved. As far as the previous conversation is concerned, I had spoken to everyone who replied. I did have a word with Sanket and Anil Maurya both, and the conversation at that time was really at the basic levels because both of them are already involved with their specific projects. I did seek their understanding ( which I wanted at that time ) and would surely contact them once we have everything ready.
About coming to Mumbai, Yes, that is in the plan, but Bollywood and Bollywood wannabes are not the only target audience we have. I agree that everyone who wants to enter Bollywood has to come to Mumbai, but here we want to inform the Artists, that there are other steps that needs to be taken before reaching Bollywood. You also know that Bollywood is the game of CnC ( Cash and Contacts) you have to have either of the one.
Now, coming down to sharing Equity, what I meant was, that we are open to share the equity, but giving away the specifics in the post itself, I didn’t find it appropriate. Sharing a pie of your business is to make sure the other person is fully committed and you share the same vision. Here I am just looking at the thought process and trying to understand if people are really interested in something like this. If they do, we will of course then take it forward , understand how can they help, how much can they help and once we are able to make that kind of understanding we are definitely open to share equity.
About the platform, we are almost ready and will launch Beta in October. We have initial set of users ready, ( we did an offline event and sold about 60 subscriptions), and we have initial set of opportunities as well. The idea is not just to keep waiting for an opportunity to come, we will create opportunities for Talented people. For that, we are creating some competitions which will run round the year.

I did reply to your email, I am not sure how did it get missed.
However, I’ll mark an email again to you , basically, the Marketing overview that you sent across was really basic and I guess we can discuss and do much more around it. In fact, the website is still not ready, what you saw at that time were test pages.
I will surely contact you once we are ready with the prototype and would start marketing ourselves.

The only incentive we are offering is the equity, the idea is that if you are interested in helping us , we can then sit down and discuss things and questions. These questions can vary from person to person, and the details can also vary, that is why I did not mention everything in the post.
I agree that after working hard for a week, nobody will work without incentives, but if this platform excites you, we can then discuss and see how can be offer the equity to you.
