Any Rodinhood in the business of designing and launching websites. I need to get 2 websites designed for my business very fast.

It will be an e commerce business, interactive website and deals with interior decoration of residential homes..

    We are also looking for individuals, start up to help us revamp our website. We are also into e-commerce. 

    Please note that, everybody here call themselves a start up. Being a start up we know how difficult it is to raise (internally) funds. It is my earnest request to the start ups to have empathy with other start ups. It does not mean we need to get the things done for free or at very minimal rates. But do try to understand the financial constraints of startups. 

    Please take my comments is above para in right spirit. Just before few days, somebody who is also running a start up quoted 60k-90k for revamping of the site.

    What a coincidence ! Happy to see first reply from a naambhai.  is Cakehunt… Have a look, the renewal of hosting is due in April 2014. Domain is just renewed..Bought SSL from Godaddy.com… Not yet active on website…the existing vendor, after taking the entire amount not interested to do pending work. 

    Want to incorporate some changes in the site. Can mail you the list once you do the initial diagnosis of the site.

  8. For starters, i think even your developer got it developed from someone else. Its made in WP. What all issues you are facing, you can let me know on that? I will help you get those sorted out.

  16. Abhay, if you are setting up a ecommerce site use one of the hosted ecommerce sites like shopify, kartrocket, zedo, etc.  

    If you are setting up a lead generation site for interior decoration use a wordpress site with a ready made theme for interior designers and decorators.  Something like this: https://www.wordpresstemplates.net/portfolio/interior-design-wordpress-themes.html

    Take the time to learn the nuts and bolts of setting up the site and everything that goes with it.  Will save you tons of money and time in the long run.

    Paying somebody to set it up for you from scratch will be just as painful and cost you more.

  21. As mentioned by someone earlier, every web designer calls himself a start-up. I have no clue about web designing and approached web designers and sought quotes for designing a website with the same features / requirements.

    I even provided them a reference website for them to look at the features. The quotes I received were a shocker. Someone quoted a lac & there were some who quoted 4-5 lac.

    Is there someone in this forum (a genuine start-up) who can empathize with start-ups which will be win-win to both the parties?
