I read an interesting article few months back, subject was ‘ what is the amount that a politician will be satisfied with and retire?’
One of the most common question asked in B-schools is ‘What is your no.?’. No, no one is asking for personal phone no.
‘What is your no.?’ here means the no. of years you make money and retire? So precisely the question is ‘When will you retire?’
Students generally answer this question in terms of money. Some say they will retire once they earn 10 crore and own a house, some say 50 crore, some say 100 crore, etc defeating the very purpose of question.
Entrepreneurs don’t retire after making certain amount of money because money is not the criteria at all.
Most of us will argue that Entrepreneurs never retire but then even Mr. Ratan Tata & Mr. Narayan Murthy retired, so entrepreneurs do retire though they may not sit idle after that. But the question is when did they retire? These legends didn’t retire after making fortune for themselves, they had some different milestones set to be crossed.
So when do an Entrepreneur Retire? Lets get some insight.
