My uncle has been working as wholesale trader of readymade garments for last 30 years in Delhi, my cousin is joining the same line but he wants to be manufacturer supplying goods to wholesalers, organised retail etc.
He wants to set up manufacturing unit of Women’s Leggings to start with and then wants to add other garments like lowers, jeans etc. His focused category is Womenswear only and wants to manufacture and supply under client’s brand name and simultaneously build his own brand.
Since this product category is very crowded and competitive, is this the right decision to become manufacturer cum supplier?
